Dear Friends and Family,
Thank you so much for taking time to read this email. Over the years, many of you have asked me when I would be recording some of my music to make available for purchase and listening pleasure. I’m pleased to announce, THE TIME HAS COME!!!
However, I can’t do it without you!
I am looking at putting together a solo project, a recording of 5 songs; 3 worship songs that the band and I will be covering and 2 original songs that I have penned. The purpose of this project is to be able to glorify God through songs that He has so graciously blessed me with the privilege of leading and writing. I long to see people reached and ministered to through this project; however God sees fit.
With recording and essentially, putting myself out there as an artist, there are many costs associated. That is where you come in. We are starting everything from the ground up and could use your prayer and monetary assistance. We covet your partnership. Below you’ll find some details about the project.
The band and I have a deadline of tracking (musician speak for recording the songs in the studio) all of the songs by the end of this year (12/31/14), and having a final, physical and digital product by the middle of February. Besides recording the songs themselves, we need to raise funds for the following:
- Mixing and Mastering of the songs. After tracking, I need to send the song files off to be mixed and mastered by professionals. If you’re wondering what that means, think of it as the final product of songs that you hear on the radio. Raw recordings that you would hear from a studio are never the final product.
- Physical duplication of the project to sell in physical form.
- A Personal website to let others know of the project.
- Merchandise for camps, conferences, and events where the band will be leading worship, to help incur costs for travel and expenses.
The total cost for the project will be $6,000.00
